86115 Automatic Carbon Coater 108carbonA with thickness controller MTM-10
The Cressington 108carbonA evaporation supply gives the conventional rod fed source unusual stability and reproducibility. Current and voltage are monitored by sensor wires in the head and the evaporation source is controlled as part of a feedback loop. Power consumption is low and the source shows exceptional re-starting characteristics. The evaporation source can be operated in "pulse" or "continuous" modes.
As option, the Cressington 108carbonA conventional rod fed source can be replaced by operator with a Carbon Fibre Evaporation Source (for 108carbonA), part number 86115.
The Cressington 108carbonA offers the choice of either manual or automatic evaporation.
In automatic mode the evaporation source operates at a programmed voltage for a programmed time. The programmer is simply adjusted and displays voltage and time digitally.
In manual mode the supply can be operated in "pulse" or "continuous" with the output voltage set using the rotary control.
Pumping System
The modular desktop design combines sputter control unit, pumping system and thickness monitor into an area of approximately 16" x 24" (42cm x 60cm). The desktop pumping system is connected with a metal coupling system. The compact high speed rotary pump is mounted on an anti-vibration table with a desktop base.
The pumping system can be easily extended into a dual pumping system to accommodate the Cressington Sputter Coater along side a Cressington Carbon Coater.
The 108 carbon coater can be retrofitted with a high resolution MTM-10 for reproducible deposition.
