This TEM grid holder holds up to 4 TEM grids. It enables imaging and analyzing specimens on TEM grids in the SEM. For EDS applications it is beneficial to place thin films on a TEM grid or small particles on a TEM grid with a support film. This can significantly reduce background in the EDS spectrum and increase detection limits of the EDS detector. Hole size in the top and base is ø2.1mm. Opening angle on the holes in the top and base is 120° to reduce electron scattering and improve X-ray collection. Overall diameter is 18mm (0.7"), overall height is approximately 25mm (1") with a stand-off pin mounted on a ø12.2 x 10mm JEOL mount. E-Beam Lithography Mount

The E-Beam Lithography Mount comprises:
- 2 ea PELCO SEMClips™ to hold the sample
- a Faraday cup (ø2.5mm with 100µm hole) to measure the beam current
- and a gold on carbon resolution sample (ø3mm) for resolution test
All mounted on a 25mm aluminum cylinder stub positioned in such a way as to leave maximum sample space. The height of the gold on carbon test specimen is approximately 0.5mm above the surface of the mount. M4 threaded hole in bottom. Material: Aluminum with copper clips and brass screws. The Gold on Carbon is similar to #617 with gold particle size range from approximately 5nm to 150nm. Shipped in plastic storage box.

Screw used is M2 x 3mm, pan head screw, brass.
