Selecting a Vacuum Pick-Up System


Handle and transport grids and wafers without the use of tweezers

Use this system for picking up delicate lightweight material with a finger controlled vacuum. Attach various hollow needle tips (5 included with system) or rubber cups (3 included with system) onto the pick-up pen.

Features:

  • Use easy finger control for picking up or releasing.
  • Not for wet or corrosive materials.
  • There is a convenient on/off switch on top of the pump body.
  • A Pick-Up Pen Stand benchtop organizer is available for the Vacuum Pick-Up System as option

The PELCO® Vacuum Pick-Up System includes: pump, finger control pen, five interchangeable needle tips (12, 16, 18, 20 and 25 gauge), 3 each clear silicone rubber vacuum cups (0.25", 0.125" and 0.375"), in-line filter and hose. Needle tip length is 39mm (1.53").

The PELCO® Vacuum Pick-Up System has a vacuum spec of 5" Hg. This equates to a suction force of 1.73g/mm2. Compensating for cup deformation and leakage, we have determined the practical lifting capacity for the cups and tips as:
