PELCO® Tissue Tampers

    

PELCO®Tissue Tampers are an accessory tool used to aid in the orientation and flatness of tissue for histological paraffin embedding. The base is brass for weight and stability. The handles are 2-3/4" long with a polyurethane coating for cool to the touch handling. Tampers should be placed on the heated work surface of the embedding center to be ready for use. If purchased as a 5-piece set, the base may be placed on the heated work surface of the embedding center.

PELCO® Tissue Tampers #22705-6 and #22705-7 are new sizes for use with Super Mega Tissue Embedding Molds.

Available in five sizes and offered as:

  • Individual tampers
  • 5-piece set of tampers with holding tray
  • 3-piece set of tampers for routine tissue embedding
  • 3-piece set of tampers for large tissue embedding
