Their development of the "Biologie" grade, with finest points, has been of inestimable value to technicians the world over in handling an array of delicate materials. Grids for electron microscopy are only one example of these applications.

DUMONT manufactures the unique "cross-over" or reverse action tweezer in many styles including the "Biologie" grade points, introduced in 1975 by our company in the USA. Graded styles by DUMONT offer choices of tip quality, finish quality, plastic coating and base metals.

A New DUMONT Tweezer Group. We are very pleased to introduce DUMOSTAR from DUMONT, an exceptional tweezer, which features outstanding results, due to:

new steel for modern requirements
high technology alloy
non-magnetic character
temperature resistance to 550°C

DUMOSTAR tweezers are made entirely from this alloy, not just the tips. The tips are insensitive to fatigue and never lose their elasticity. Tip hardness is progressive and reaches its peak in the employment zone of a style 5 tweezers with hardness in the tips of Rockwell number 63-64.

DUMOSTAR tweezers also have excellent corrosion resistance to sea water, HCl, H3PO4, HNO3, H2SO4. It is resistant to neutral and alkaline environments. DUMOSTAR's resistance is superior to that of the best stainless steel.

Used in research, development and teaching in fields such as microelectronics, biomedical, histology, hospital, industrial manufacturing operations, materials sciences, jewelry making, botany and others.
