Amorphous nickel-titanium perforated foils (nitinol) on gold or copper mesh for cryo-EM. They are characterized by defined hole sizes (round, size/spacing), excellent conductivity, and user-friendly handling. The advantages include improved resolution, faster sample preparation, and higher data acquisition efficiency.
The films are on the matte side (grey/black), the reverse side is metallic and shiny (gold or copper). To hydrophilize the metallic perforated films, we recommend the Pelco easiGlow (15mA, 30-60s).
Sample concentration using apoferritin as an example: 1 mg/ml to 1.5 mg/ml.
🔹 Technical specifications
