Kulzer Technovit® 8100 Plastic Embedding System (GMA)
Kulzer Technovit® 8100 Plastic Embedding System (GMA)
Plastic Sections for Light Microscopy and Immunohistochemistry
Kulzer Technovit® 8100 is a HEMA-based plastic-embedding system (Glycol Methacrylate - GMA) for studies with light microscopy. It is suitable for embedding all tissues in medicine, zoology and botany. Thin resin sections provide for higher resolution microscopy that is not possible with paraffin sections. Sections of decalcified or briefly decalcified iliac crest biopsies and implanted biomaterials can be used for more than just histological staining; may also be used for enzyme chemistry and immunohistochemistry.
