#13509-5 Fusion Micro: Microtome Blade Handles
#13511-80H MicroKnife Blade Handles
Our Microtome Blade Handles are specifically designed for use with Feather, Accu-Edge, and CellEdge low profile disposable microtome blades. They extend the useful life of used microtome blades by turning them into a disposable grossing knife for precise trimming and grossing of tissues.
These are single use, disposable, molded polypropylene handles; once fixed the blade cannot be removed.
Two versions are available. The Fusion Micro Blade Handle has a comfortable ergonomic grip. An Easy Attachment Tool is also available to aid in blade attachment to the Fusion Micro Handle. The MicroKnife Blade Handle can fix a blade into one of two positions.

Tissue Marking Dye
27213, 27213-1,2,3,4,5
Our new tissue marking dyes are formulated to provide very bright and clear identification of microscopic areas of interest and to easily identify the orientation of excised tissue samples. These dyes are readily visible on cut frozen tissue sections. These dyes will not run, bleed, fade or lose intensity from tissue processing and/or during staining procedures in the histology laboratory.
- Permanent tissue marking dyes.
- Colors formulated to define margins without bleeding or fading.
- Durable, bright dyes hold permanently through processing and staining procedures.
- Unique lid design allows for complete removal or they may be conveniently flipped open with little risk of drying.
- Available in 2oz. flip-top bottles in the following colors:
Yellow: SDS (522KB PDF)
Red: SDS (521KB PDF)
Green: SDS (514KB PDF)
Black: SDS (510KB PDF)
Blue: SDS (522KB PDF)
Applications/intended use:
- Mohs surgery procedures to mark tissue specimens to map and identify the orientation and borders of tissue specimens.
- Pathology grossing of tissue to identify areas of interest and orientation of surgically excised tissue specimens.
- Marking surgical margins.
- Identifying serial segments of large tissues to ensure proper orientation and embedding.
- Identification of multiple pieces of tissues processed in one cassette

The DissecTable™ Board is made from high density, thick, stain resistant polyethylene for years of use without bending, swelling or changing shape. A drain trough is provided around the edge of the board to contain fluids.
This dissecting board offers large scales printed on one side and two smaller layouts on the other side. The scales are centimeters from one corner and inches from the other corner. The printed circle pattern shows 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14mm and 1/8", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8" diameters. The side with one large layout printed also includes a 60 x 80mm grid. Board dimensions are 575 x 400 x 12.5mm (23 x 15 x 1/2").
The heavy-duty DissecTable™ Base with rubber feet is used to elevate the DissecTable™ Board to the proper height, hold the board more stable, and collect any run-off that may escape the board drain trough. Bases are stackable to adjust height higher. Board may be used without base. Base dimensions are 481 x 656 x 91mm (19-1/4 x 26-1/4 x 3-5/8").
