The CellCeps+ Heated Forceps and Tampers are electrically heated instruments designed to assist in the orientation and positioning of histological specimens during embedding in paraffin. They incorporate safe, low-voltage heating elements, which maintain an optimum temperature for manipulation of specimens in histological paraffin.

CellCeps+ Heated Forceps are available in three sizes: 1, 2 and 4mm with a choice of either serrated or smooth jaws. Smooth jaw forceps are ideal for handling fragile tissue specimens which are easily marked, while serrated jaws provide a strong grip for manipulating specimens, base molds and cassettes. Fitted with polyurethane finger grips, which remain cool when in use, these forceps are comfortable to use for long periods. The smooth jaw forceps are also available with LED lighting for improved visualization of specimens. 

CellCeps+ Heated Tampers are available in three sizes, which fit directly onto the CellCeps+ Control Unit. The largest size tamper is designed to aid in embedding of large Super Mega sized specimens.

The CellCeps+ LED Heated Forceps are electrically heated and designed to assist in the orientation and positioning of histological specimens during embedding in histological paraffin. The addition of an LED light within the forceps improves visualization when handling small biopsies and reduces the time needed to manipulate and orient them.
